How to Use the Souk Mobile App and Receive Notifications

Introduction

If you can’t install the Souk mobile app, you can still use Souk as a PWA (web app).

This lets you add Souk to your Home Screen and use it like an app.

1. Open the PWA page

Open your mobile browser:

• iPhone: Safari
• Android: Chrome

Go to: https://souk.to/app

2. Add Souk to your Home Screen

• iPhone (Safari):

1. Tap the Share icon
2. Select Add to Home Screen

• Android (Chrome):

1. Tap the ⋮ menu
2. Select Add to Home screen

Open Souk from the new Home Screen icon.

You will get an app like experience, without installing anything from the store.

3. Notifications

Notifications are managed in Settings → Notifications.

To enable them on your device:

1. Open Settings → Notifications
2. In This device, tap Enable and accept the browser prompt

On iPhone, Souk must be added to your Home Screen first (see step 2).

If the page shows Notifications blocked, they are blocked at the system level:

• iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Souk
• Desktop: allow notifications for souk.to in your browser settings

From the same page you can choose which notifications to receive:

• New item matches — when an item matches one of your alerts (also adjustable per alert, with the bell)
• Purchase success — when an Autocop purchase completes
• Purchase failure — when an Autocop purchase fails for a payment or account issue (off by default)
• Autocop deactivated — when Autocop turns off and needs your attention
• Purchase sound — the sound played when Autocop buys an item
